TANK-BRED QUALITY

Dwarf & Shell Dweller Cichlids we offer for sale have been bred in the tanks of our fellow hobbyists (breeders) or our relatives (also breeders). Our Cichlids sell out quick and it takes time to grow & replenish stocks. We don’t work on quantity but we do work on quality.

Also, but very rarely, we can offer other types of American and African cichlids.

PLEASE NOTE:

Color variants of Apistogramma cacatuoides are still the same species (ie Cacatuoides) however have been line bread to enhance the fish’s colors. Names such as “Super Red” or “Triple Red” are the commercial name used to describe the color of the fish and to make them sound fancier and more desirable. There is no ‘official’ set of characteristics. It depends on the seller. Double-Red has Red/Black pattern on the caudal and soft part of the dorsal fins. Tripe-Red: Red/Black pattern on caudal, soft dorsal, and anal fins. Super(Quad)-Red: Red/Black pattern on caudal, soft dorsal, anal and ventral fins.
