As I have already said in one of my previous articles that to this day I have not been able to find documentation with pictures that would help me understand why ‘completely colored guppies’ are called MOSCOW? For a very long time I’ve been following all Russian websites, blogs, forums, etc. about guppies (as I have already mentioned in my article – MOSCOW GUPPIES) and I came to the conclusion that none of the Russian reputable guppy breeders do not call “Solid Blue” [Triangle/Delta] guppy – MOSCOW BLUE! Just a couple of beginners in the aquarium hobby has published pictures of guppies that are called the Blue Moscow so I decided to share the guppy images of Vladimira Viktorovicha Storozheva with strain name.
NOTE;
V.V. Storozhev engaged in breeding guppies for over 40 years. At the present time – an honorary member of the club “Guppy Russia.” Vladimir seriously engaged in breeding began in 1978. In 1981 and 1982, Vladimir participate in the guppy competitions with other guppy breeders from East Germany, Poland, Czechoslovakia, and of course from all over the Soviet Union (today former Soviet Union). During that years, his guppies took the first place. Vladimir is the owner of numerous awards and diplomas that are received during the participation in the exhibitions of the past years.

Albino Scarlet
His 50-ton aquarium farm is located in Odintsovo, Moscow region. In addition it contains guppies and breeds many other species of fish. Also, Vladimir is the creator (guppy designer) of some guppy strains … (in some point he did breed in artificial conditions using hormone injections because was extremely difficult to cross the border of the Soviet Union and imported fish)
Like this one with the working title – “no tail” – a transparent tail. Vladimir received this breed by crossing wild and purebred guppies, was only one male found in batch from which the breed started.

Vladimir says; The potential inherent in each fish so huge that it is difficult to evaluate, you can start to introduce new variations of species, but it is impossible to stop or to calculate the number of possible options that are able to produce is available in your guppies economy.
