These are just some of my culls. The reason why I culling this guppies is ‘heart’ shaped tail or some missing pattern/color on the edge of dorsal fin or both. There is a very rare occurrence of both problems in one fish. I’m talking about the line that I have, not about snakeskins in general! This original line came from Tim Mousseau.

From my experience, through many crossings with them, both, males and females can carry these bad genes. So, the key is to pick the right female, which is very difficult because they do not show the defect they carry on. Picking the right males is kind ~ easy job 🙂  The requirement for straighten up this line is a lot of tanks/room, which unfortunately we do not have at the moment.
