Some time ago I started working on this ‘trait’
which started to show up in my Moscow Mosaic line (developed in my tanks) in the form of dots on the surface of the peduncle.
By selection I came to this result.
My intention is to create a Red-Bodied Moscow Mosaic with at least half a body, if not three quarters, to be red.
I thought this was magenta trait (causing red color in tail to appear as purple – see photo num. 3.) but I’m told that it is not magenta.
No, this trait it is not presented by influence of another red autosomal fish. So, it must be expression of existing erythrophores in my Mocows?
I sincerely hope that this shown trait will help me achieve my goal. Oh yes, I know this isn’t exactly a new trait seen for the first time in guppies 😉
